Dr. Alicia Alvarez is an allergy and immunology specialist with Sarasota Memorial’s First Physicians Group Silverstein Institute. She treats adults and children with environmental, food, medication, and insect allergies. Her Sarasota allergy practice also includes asthma therapies, allergen immunotherapy, biologic medications, and evaluation for primary immunodeficiency.
I have been very pleased with the care I received. The doctor is professional, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to, which made the entire visit feel comfortable and reassuring. I also appreciate how clearly everything was explained. Taking the time to walk through the details helped me better understand my condition and treatment options. Overall, it was an excellent experience with a physician who truly knows how to care for patients.

Dr. Alvarez is truly wonderful. She is caring, attentive, and takes the time to really listen. I never feel rushed during my visits, and she makes sure we talk through everything carefully before deciding on the best treatment plan. At 75, I have seen many doctors over the years, but Dr. Alvarez is easily one of my favorites. Her kindness, patience, and dedication make such a difference.
